Dr. Michael M. Jugan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 35 years of experience delivering expert care in joint reconstruction, sports injuries, and general orthopedic conditions. He is widely respected for his depth of experience, surgical precision, and patient-first philosophy.
Dr. Michael M. Jugan specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including joint pain, rotator cuff injuries, meniscus tears, bursitis, fractures, and arthritis. His practice blends advanced surgical techniques, such as arthroscopy and minimally invasive procedures with conservative treatments, allowing him to tailor each plan to the unique needs of his patients.
Dr. Jugan earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his internship and orthopedic residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. He went on to receive specialized training in hand surgery at Hand Surgery Associates in Detroit, pediatric orthopedics at Shriner’s Hospital in Tampa, and orthopedic traumatology at Tampa General Hospital.
