Dr. Alec Dierksheide is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon committed to delivering exceptional care to patients throughout Southwest Florida. He specializes in complex foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and reconstructive procedures, with a focus on advanced surgical techniques such as arthroscopy, tendon transfers, minimally invasive bunion correction, total ankle replacement, and limb salvage.

With extensive training from nationally recognized residency and fellowship programs, Dr. Dierksheide has developed clinical expertise in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, ankle fractures, diabetic wound care, pediatric foot conditions, and nerve repair. His practice also includes the management of post-traumatic deformities and complex revisional procedures, integrating both traditional and emerging technologies in foot and ankle care.

A strong advocate for patient-centered treatment, Dr. Dierksheide takes pride in tailoring each care plan to the unique lifestyle and activity level of his patients, from young athletes to seniors with degenerative conditions. His experience as an on-field physician for high school football and his active lifestyle as an IRONMAN triathlete inform his commitment to helping patients recover quickly and return to the activities they love.
